Bengaluru's tiniest bakehouse · now the internet's

Sold out three days in five. Now they are yours to bake.

The Tempt Bake House at night, before it closed: the lit red sign, Kannada lettering above it, and Sneha standing inside the tiny glass-fronted bakehouse on 80 Ft Road, Koramangala

80 Ft Road. Paused, not finished.Photo by the founders, before the shutter

Eighty square feet, and we sold out three days out of five. Then one video found 2.2 million people and the queue outgrew the counter. Growing it needed money we did not have, so we are doing the better thing: every bake we sold is now a recipe you can own, Sneha's video, the card, the scaler. Eggless, chemical-free, for the person you'd bake it for.

19K of you on Instagram. One "do you still have the blueberry recipe?" message a day since we paused.Fine. Here they are. Collab with us · Why we paused

Five taps. It tells you, honestly, whether we're a fit, and puts the serious ones straight in front of Sneha. No shop to visit, so this is the door.

Bake for good

Some days the oven goes to school.

There's no button here on purpose. This isn't a cause we sell; it's a thing we do. The counter paused; this did not. We'll keep telling it as it happens.

The bakehouse saga

One baker. One oven. 2.2M views.

01

Stash To Go. Our first venture. Good food, wrong corner. We learned exactly what a location costs.

02

A hard year, and a clear lesson. We found the thing we were actually good at. One kitchen closed, so we opened the oven.

03

80 sq ft home kitchen → 80 sq ft bakehouse on 80 Ft Road. Pop-ups at art festivals and flea markets first. Destiny clearly has a sense of humour.

04

Then it worked. Sold out three days in five, and a video found 2.2 million people. Eighty square feet could not hold the queue.

05

Scaling it needed capital we did not have. We are the breadwinners at home, the banks were not interested, and hope is not a business plan. So we paused the counter and opened the recipes instead.

“If you're in Bangalore and craving a truly indulgent treat, The Tempt Bakehouse is the place to be! Their eggless NYC cheesecake is hands down the best you'll find in the city rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. And if you’re a fan of decadent desserts, their brownies are a must-try.…”

“Stumbled upon this gem in Koramangala and it instantly stole my heart! 💛 Sneha's mini cheesecakes are heavenly bites of joy, and the ragi brownie with jaggery? Who could have thought that!…”
